Short Highway Code cards. Tick understood, or leave it and come back.
UK car theory · Learn your way
Read a short card, try a question, flip a road sign, or watch the lights change. It’s the same Highway Code, just a few different ways to get it into your head.
Morning, Alex.

Some people want to read. Some want questions. Some need to see a sign or a set of lights. You can switch whenever you like.

Have a go
Questions in the style of the real test, with an explanation after each one. Misses go into Mistake clinic.
See it
Official DfT signs as flash cards. Have a guess, then turn it over.
Watch it
A sequence plays out and a car comes up to the lights. Pause it if you need a closer look.
Five minutes
One card, one question, one sign. Handy if you have a spare few minutes.
Fix it
The questions you got wrong last time, in one place, so you can go over them again.
Keep it
Cards you already understood come back after a week, so they don’t quietly fade.
Inside the product
A few screens from the learner portal: cards, lights, signs, and a short mix.
Library
Have a proper scan before you decide. Rushing is how you miss things.
Green to amber. The car comes up to the stop line.
Guess then flip
Official Department for Transport artwork, not a sketch of the sign.
Fact
Have a proper look before you commit. That’s the whole point of this card.
Question
Stop if you can do so safely. The car is already at the line.
Sign
Guess the sign first, then check you had it right.
What makes it different
You don’t have to live in a question bank. Read, practise, check signs, watch lights, do a short mix, or go over mistakes.
Road-sign revision uses Department for Transport artwork, so you’re looking at the sign you’ll see on the road.
Traffic lights are a short animation, not a paragraph. The car comes in when a driver would need to react, and people walk across the crossing.
Mark a card understood and it comes back a week later for a quick check, rather than disappearing for good.
Wrong answers don’t just sit in a score. They collect in the clinic so you can have another go at the ones that caught you out.
Sit a timed paper, then see what you missed and jump back to that topic, instead of staring at a percentage.
Topics
The same list you’ll see on the DVSA side, written as short cards and practice questions.
Get started
You can begin with a five-minute mix. Progress, mistakes and MOT reminders stay on your dashboard.
